Staff Accountant - Software

Due to our exponential growth, we are seeking a motivated Staff Accountant.

What we’re looking for:
A self-motivated, team-oriented, and customer service focused individual with strong attention to detail. The right individual will thrive on responsibility and be able to operate with little to no supervision and will posses strong general accounting knowledge and understand how their role relates to the financials.

Responsibilities will include:
• Support the sales department through verification of quotes and other items as necessary.
• Input and maintain customer orders and files in software system.
• Generate customer billings for new orders as well as renewals.
• Contact customers as needed related to past due accounts receivable.
• Task-oriented role with opportunity for advancement within rapidly growing organization
• Some clerical activities will be part of this role as related to job activities (i.e. filing, mailing, scanning).

Qualifications:
• 3+ years in a general accounting role. Prior subscription based revenue accounting is a strong plus.
• Extremely detail-oriented with strong time management and prioritization skills.
• High aptitude for learning new technologies.
• Strong computer and Internet skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
